Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Intern to join our team. The Sales Intern will work closely with our sales team to learn about the sales process and gain hands-on experience in prospecting, lead generation, and sales support. The successful candidate will be customer-focused, have excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to learn and grow into a sales career.
Responsibilities:
Learn about the sales process and assist the sales team with prospecting, lead generation, and sales support activities.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and opportunities for business growth.
Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals.
Attend client meetings and product demonstrations with the sales team, and take notes on key takeaways.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including client interactions, leads generated, and sales pipeline status
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices, and continuously seek out new opportunities for business growth.
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of the industry and competitive landscape is a plus.
Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus.
Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
