This role is designed for a developer with significant experience in Odoo's framework, demonstrating a robust track record in developing and implementing Odoo modules and applications. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise to our dynamic team, driving the development and customization of Odoo applications that meet and exceed our operational requirements and strategic goals.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement custom Odoo modules that fulfill business requirements.Maintain and upgrade existing Odoo installations and modules.Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to identify and assess business requirements for new systems or modifications.Conduct module testing and bug fixes to ensure high-quality software performance.Document all development processes and operations, creating clear and detailed guides for users and administrators.Assist in the integration of Odoo with other business systems, ensuring seamless workflow across platforms.Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring effective use of Odoo applications.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience as an Odoo Developer with a deep understanding of the Odoo framework.Proficiency in Python programming and its application to Odoo development.Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and database management.Experience in developing custom modules for Odoo that enhance business operations.Familiarity with Linux-based operating systems and server management.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional communication abilities, capable of clearly articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Experience with front-end technologies (e.G., JavaScript, HTML/CSS) for Odoo web development.Knowledge of software development lifecycle and best practices.Prior exposure to financial services or SaaS industries is a plus.Application Process:Eager candidates are encouraged to apply through LinkedIn or directly by emailing their resume and a cover letter to [email protected], including any relevant project portfolios or achievements that underscore their fit for this role.SpacePe is deeply committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
