Job Purpose
An equity trader is a professional who buys and sells shares on behalf of their clients to help them reach their financial goals. Dealers assess financial opportunities analyze risks and develop trading strategies .
Job Description
1)Monitoring and analyzing the condition of the stock market to prepare profitable financial information
2)Examining a company & financial reports including balance sheets and cash flow statements
3)Making investments that align with the financial position of the organization
4)Taking into consideration the company & assets against its liabilities before making investments
5)Buying and selling shares and securities by employing shortterm trading models
6)Establishing effective trading strategies that result in more income and profits for clients
7)Ensuring that trading transactions comply with the SEBI laws and policies
8)Designing market intelligence reports for the clients to ensure profitable returns
9)Using data to assess financial risks and taking trading decisions based on that
10)Liaising with portfolio and fund accounting teams to ensure timely trade processing
11)Updating data sheets performance valuation and liquidity reports regularly
12)Communicating with intermediaries and brokers to solve the discrepancies in trades
Experience : Minimum 3 Years
