Job Title: Desktop and Intune Specialist Position: Lead Analyst/Associate Consultant Experience: 8+ yrs Category: IT Infrastructure Main location: Bangalore/Chennai Position ID: J0124-0814 Employment Type: Full Time Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Desktop Migration Specialist to lead the migration of approximately 8000 PCs to Intune. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing processes, scripts, and automation solutions to seamlessly install Intune and migrate user PC profiles to new profiles. The goal is to minimize user interaction during the migration process and ensure a smooth transition, including the reinstallation of printers, local applications, and non-OneDrive data. Responsibilities: Lead the migration of 8K PCs to Intune. Develop and implement scripts and automation solutions for the installation of Intune. Create processes to migrate user PC profiles to new profiles post-Intune installation. Automate the migration of OneDrive data, while ensuring the reinstallation or copying of printers, local apps, and non-OneDrive data to the new profile. Minimize user interaction during the migration process. Address multiple profiles on some machines and ensure their successful migration. Qualifications: Deep knowledge of PCs and Windows OS. Proven experience with scripting and automation. Prior experience in migrating PCs to Mobile Device Management (MDM), preferably with Intune. Familiarity with Modern Desktop Management Tools, including Intune, MaaS 360, and SCCM. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues independently. Self-sufficient, innovative, and able to learn through research and other means. Ability to work with minimal guidance, taking ownership of tasks and solving problems efficiently.
