Job description: We are a Singapore-based established e-commerce company looking to hire a software/website tester. This is a work-from-home role. We are looking for a software/website tester who is a fast learner, takes initiative and ownership and keeps up to date with the latest technologies.

2.

Responsibilities: a.

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to detect and identify software defects, bugs, and vulnerabilities. b.

Collaborate with software developers and project managers to identify issues and troubleshoot problems that arise during the testing process. c.

Analyse user requirements and technical specifications to ensure that software products are developed and tested according to project requirements. d.

Design and develop automated test scripts to automate the testing process and improve efficiency. e.

Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, cases, scripts, and bug reports. f.

Participate in project planning, including estimating test efforts and providing input on project timelines and resources. g.

Report test results to project stakeholders, including developers, project managers, and business stakeholders. h.

Participate in post-release activities, including customer support and defect analysis.

3.

Requirements and skills: a.

1-5 years of proven work experience as a tester. b.

Should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. c.

A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field may also be required, as well as relevant experience in software testing. d.

Additionally, knowledge of programming languages, test automation tools, and software development methodologies may also be helpful.
