Job description
As a member of the Upstream Processing function will have hands-on experience in the expression of recombinant proteins in Mammalian cells. She/he would be able to independently design and set up experiments involving transfections of mammalian cells with expression cassettes, collect and process cell-free supernatants with expressed recombinant proteins including antibodies and immunofusions, concentrate culture supernatants and verify their binding to their respective targets. Identified candidate should be flexible and willing to learn other related and relevant areas of recombinant DNA technology, molecular and cell biology and flow cytometry. With experience in the said field the candidate should be able to help with troubleshooting experiments as and when required. The candidate is expected to work in co-ordination with the rest of the group.
