Job overview
We are looking for Reservation Specialist for a hospitality Industry. As a Reservation Specialist you will be responsible for handing all the reservation bookings through various channels and assisting the customer to choose the best service based on their needs.
Job Responsibilities :
- Handle reservations through various channels such as phone email online platforms or inperson
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate services or accommodations based on their needs.
- Input and update reservation information in the booking system.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Communicate with customers to confirm reservations provide information about services and answer any questions they may have.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g. front desk housekeeping sales accounts) to ensure smooth operation and fulfillment of customer requests.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to promote special offers or packages.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of reservations cancellations and customer interactions.
- Generate reports as needed to analyze reservation trends and performance.
- Process payments and confirm payment details with customers.
- Follow established procedures for handling deposits cancellations and refunds.
- Stay informed about company policies industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ensure that all reservations adhere to company standards and policies.
- Identify opportunities to up sell additional services or upgrades to enhance the customer experience.
- Making reservations for customers based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances.
- Checking the availability of accommodation or transportation on the customers desired travel dates
- Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
- Selling and promoting reservation services.
- Answering any questions customers might have about the reservation process. Providing support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation.
Job Requirements :
- Graduate in any stream
- 13 years of Experience in similar role is necessary
- Problem Solving and analytical thinking skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Excellent Interpersonal communication skills
- Good Knowledge on reservation system
- Good Computer knowledge
