Job description
Drug Safety Physician (DSPs)
Job duties of a Drug Safety Physician include:
- Reviewing and analyzing adverse event reports, clinical trial data, and other safety information related to drugs
- Assessing the safety and efficacy of drugs
- Developing and implementing risk management plans
- Communicating safety information to healthcare professionals and patients
- Participating in ongoing safety surveillance programs
- Liaising with regulatory authorities
Preferred Qualifications
- A medical degree (MD or DO)
- Experience in drug safety, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of clinical trial data and statistical analysis
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
