Job description
As a MicroStrategy Developer with expertise in ETL (DataStage), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Business Intelligence solutions using MicroStrategy and integrating data from various sources using IBM DataStage. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, design data models, develop ETL processes, and create insightful reports and dashboards. This role requires strong technical skills in both MicroStrategy and DataStage, along with excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and maintain MicroStrategy BI solutions to meet business requirements.
2. Design and optimize ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
4. Create and maintain documentation for BI solutions, including data models, reports, and dashboards.
5. Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BI solutions, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum performance.
7. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in BI and ETL technologies.
