Job description
Mainframe Database performance tuning and troubleshooting
Setup and maintenance of Data replication services
24*7 support to ensure continuous service availability and operation stability
Explore and help organization to implement best technical practises / recommendations to reduce / meet cost targets
Perform Health check activities, monitoring and follow up using vendor IBM and Inhouse tools.
Automate BAU work to improve efficiency and productivity.
10+ years of rich hands-on experience with DB2 SQLs performance tuning in Data sharing environments
7+ years hands on experience with the replication and publishing technologies on z/OS i.e. Q Replication, SQL Replication, Data Event Publishing, and Change Data Capture
7+ years of good experience with Application programming and development, design, analysis, and coding: PL/1, DB2, REXX, JCL, Java
5+ years of rich working experience with IBM products i.e., QMON, Admin tool, DB2 log analysis tool, Omegamon etc.
Working Experience with IBM DB2 Analytics Accelerator (IDAA)
Experience with ITIL processes and Tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly IBM DB2 DBA Certification
Programming skills with Python, .Net
Experience with Banking Domain,
