Job Role – Retail Sales Executive (Experience – 3 to 5 Years)

About Job

As a Retail Sales Executive, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a strong knowledge of gold products. Your primary focus will be on engaging customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the process of selecting and purchasing gold items. This role requires a deep understanding of the gold market, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

- Understand customers' preferences and requirements to provide personalized recommendations.

- Educate Customers about various gold products, including purity, design, and value.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall profitability of the store.

- Effective upsell and cross-sell gold products based on customer preferences.

- Handle customer inquiries, negotiate prices, and close sales transactions.

Product Knowledge:

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the gold market.

- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of different types of gold, including coins, bars, and jewellery.

- Provide accurate and detailed information about the quality and authenticity of gold products.

Inventory Management:

- Monitor and manage the inventory of gold products.

- Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure proper stock levels.

- Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies to the management.

Customer Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

- Collect feedback to improve the overall customer experience.

Compliance and Security:

- Adhere to all relevant regulations and legal requirements related to gold sales.

- Ensure the security and integrity of gold products and the sales environment.

Administration:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales transactions.

- Prepare reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and inventory levels.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in the jewellery or precious metals industry.

- Strong Written and verbal communication skills

- Must have English and Kannada.

- Strong knowledge of gold products, market trends, and valuation.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Basic computer skills for maintaining records and using sales software.
