Senior Manager in Cyber Security Operations , reporting directly to the

Director of Information Security . This position is

remote, with the base location in Gurgaon, India .

How You’ll Make an Impact

As the Senior Manager of Cyber Security Operations, you’ll be at the forefront of safeguarding our organization. Your pivotal role involves leading and overseeing both the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) and the Security Engineering functions. As a key member of our Information Security leadership team, you’ll play a critical part in:

Incident Response Leadership: Spearhead the development and maintenance of a global, 24x7x365 incident response program. Take ownership of the governance framework, including policies, procedures, and response playbooks. Ensure alignment with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF). Strive to meet or exceed all security operations process maturity goals. Security Engineering Oversight:Lead and oversee the Security Engineering teams responsible for implementing and operating innovative security solutions. Evaluate and select the most appropriate security technologies, tools, and vendors. Maximize return on technology investments by optimizing utilization of security platforms and tools.

Critical responsibilities:

Strategic Alignment:Develop and execute the organization’s cyber security strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals. Regularly assess the security landscape, staying informed about emerging threats and industry best practices. Incident Response Leadership:Serve as the Incident Commander during response activities. Coordinate efforts between the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) and impacted IT and business teams. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company incident reporting requirements. Provide periodic status updates until resolution. Generate final incident reports for stakeholders, including senior leadership and the board of directors. Performance Metrics and Reporting:Identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all security operations aspects. Generate regular reports for Information Security and IT leadership. Forensic Expertise:Supervise CSIRT leaders in employing advanced forensic techniques:Analyze events. Respond to incidents, Produce comprehensive reports, Provide recommendations for improved security.

What You’ll Need

A Bachelor’s degree (or more advanced degree) in fields such as computer science, information systems, data governance, or cyber security. Minimum 13+ years of experience in cyber security, with a primary focus on: Security Operations Center (SOC) ,Incident Response, Security Engineering. Minimum of 5 years (5 preferred) leading information security teams Experience with Cloud hosting (Azure/AWS), Private Cloud, and On-prem technologies. Ability to supervise and manage cross-functional teams. Provide support for Security Risk Assessment to close audit points and assure the Board Certifications (Preferred):CISA, CIA, CISSP, or CISM certification

What Will Set You Apart

Proven leadership and management experience, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams. Endpoint Detection and Response Strong knowledge of security technologies, standards, and frameworks. A broad and deep understanding of cyber-security threats, vulnerabilities, controls, and remediation strategies in global enterprise environments Experience leading and managing Cyber Security teams in large sized enterprises Experience working with Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) tools, endpoint detection and response tools, vulnerability management suites, and various security solutions. Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. A deep understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to cyber security. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations. Manage Cyber Defense Budgets and optimized utilization in coordination with Procurement team. Assist with management of information security budget and vendor contracts, including conducting quarterly business reviews, capturing metrics, and reporting on KPIs to drive program improvements.
