Overview About The Company
Our client is an Indian banking and financial services company headquartered in Mumbai. It offers banking products and financial services for corporate and retail customers in the areas of personal finance, investment banking, life insurance, and wealth management. It offers high interest rate savings account, low interest rate personal loan and credit cards with attractive offers.
Job Role - Knowledge of Banking Products Must; Retail/Commercial Assets – Business banking preferred
- Be able to understand business analytics requirements & convert them into desired solution/insights
- Quickly grasp available data sources & be able to explore & use when needed using simple/complex SQL/SAS queries.
- Should be able to use various statistical techniques to extract insights from raw data (correlation, percentiles, standard deviation, cross-tabs, slice/dice)
- Visualization & Presentation skills post data/analysis preparation through Power BI, Excel, PPT etc
- Skills – SAS, SQL, Python, AWS
Job Requirements - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business or related field
- Hands on experience on ML (Machine Learning) Techniques is must.
- Hands on experience on Credit Bureau data is a must
- 3-5 Years Model building experience in credit risk side is must.
- Proficient in SAS/SQL/Python/R (Any 2 of them)
- Good problem solving skills, Ability to build storylines & recommendations for business stakeholder consumption i.e. Ability to 'Think in Math, Speak in English'
