Digital marketing for driving website visits, engagement, and brand presence
Experience: 3-4 years of experience in digital marketing for technology companies
Required Skills: Strong knowledge of search engine optimization, Google search console, technology domains, repurposing short-form content, market research
FocusFew, a high-end technology marketing consulting firm based in Pune, is looking for a digital marketing professional who can manage and optimize websites, drive visits and engagement, and build brand presence for its technology clients.
Skillset and Capabilities:
Strong background and end-to-end knowledge of SEO/SEM to set up and optimize website pages to increase visitor reach and engagement Industry / domain specific keyword research, keyword analysis and optimization
Come up with relevant, high volume traffic keywords and align content strategy
Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking strategies and search engine ranking factors to improve ranking on popular search engines
Good understanding of WordPress and related plugins, HTML, CSS, web page structure, layout, navigation and linking. Working knowledge of PHP and JavaScript is a plus
Regular technical analysis testing of the website, layout, content correctness, mobile and on other devices
Detailed understanding search engine friendly naming and linking conventions.
Optimization of web pages, files, image and multimedia files In-bound link development and content submission strategies from relevant and popular sites, portals and directories
Blog commenting, answering queries, online interactions, and social engagement is a plus
Work on information gathering includes technical website analysis, competitive/keyword research and link analysis
Content optimization:
Suggest content edits for better user engagement, visibility, ranking and achieve high volume of traffic
Good understanding of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Web Trends) to continuously improve on metrics, insights and best practices is a must
Ability to prepare insightful and attractive reports using Google Analytics: audience, geography, content, engagement, conversions
Find and fix small technical errors and glitches on website independently
Good knowledge of SEM, PPC and traditional paid ad campaigns, advertising, bidding and optimizing (AdWords, LinkedIn Ads, etc.)
Must have a good understanding of technologies, such as cloud infrastructure, IoT, data analytics, etc., and how they apply in real scenarios
Capability to conduct secondary research on companies, publishers, influencers, and industry-related topics is a must Understanding and exposure to an industry vertical (e.g., Healthcare, Manufacturing, BFSI/Fintech, Retail) is a plus
Experience and Aptitude:
Ability to work in a team and collaborate with others to drive initiatives forward amicably
Demonstrable work in driving visits and engagement for technology websites
Good command on English language.
Ability to write and repurpose short-form content independently
Enthusiastic individual passionate about using multiple digital tools to drive relevant audiences to technology/B2B websites
