Job description
Job Summary: TestGrid is seeking an experienced front-end Developer to join our innovative and dynamic team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, maintainable, and performant code for our web-based applications that meet the needs of our users. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain user-facing applications Build modular and reusable components and libraries Implement front-end logic and connect it with the APIs provided by backend developers Optimize applications for performance, including responsiveness and speed Translate UI/UX design wireframes into code that produces visual elements of the application Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards Stay up-to-date with the latest Vue.js features and best practices Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and other front-end developers Write comprehensive unit tests and documentation Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model Understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including Sass or LESS Experience with modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools such as Webpack, Babel, NPM, etc. A knack for benchmarking and optimization Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance Preferred Skills: Experience with server-side rendering Knowledge of backend technology and frameworks, especially those relevant to the company's stack Experience with automated testing platforms and unit tests Proficiency in consuming RESTful APIs Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail growth opportunities
