Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Java Software Engineer located in Pune. The Senior Java Software Engineer will be responsible for software development, microservices architecture and design, programming using Spring Framework, and Java development. Should work on the backend of a data analytics web application, under the direction of the Java Lead and the CTO. Qualifications 4+ years of Java experience Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns and defensive programming techniques Regularly able to overlap with US PST through 8AM Expertise in Software Development, Microservices, and Programming Proficiency in Spring Framework and experience in Java development Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps processes Experience with cloud-based technologies and services (e.g. AWS, Azure) is a plus Experience with front-end development technologies such as Angular or React is a plus Pluses Basic React familiarity for fullstack projects with simple frontend needs Spring Boot Docker AWS MavenJob tags
