Job Mission: Primary Responsibilities: As Technical Lead at TerraPay, your primary responsibilities will include: The candidate is expected to create and lead a team of engineers and drive development efforts for various products. The candidate will be part of the Engineering leadership team and will help strategize, execute product roadmap. Should be able to write codes/ debug code in Java & other backend technology. Functional & Unit testing to validate the code, prepare & execute test cases. Candidate must be good in HLD & LLD, DS&A. Also, should have architectural skills, and should be able to design the product from scratch. Should be able to lead a team of 5-15 Engineers (prior leadership experience is Must). Additional Responsibilities: In addition to your primary responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to: This role requires the person to contribute to product design & development Individually, also to manage the team of java developers. Understand the requirement based on the FSD (Functional Specification document). Should be persuasive, patient, compassionate and possess exquisite prioritization skills. Should have experience working with a diverse engineering stack in a fast-paced environment. Develop codes as per the standard coding guidelines. Review the accuracy of code produced by subordinates and provide suggestions on it. Qualifications: Essential Skills: 6 to 10 years relevant experience in backend development with Java (Having experience of working in FinTech/ Payment industry would be a must). You have strong Java programming, architecture, DevOps, and QA chops. Educational Qualifications: BE/ B. Tech/ MCA/ ME/ M. Tech Preferred Skills: Knowledge of App Servers: Tomcat Knowledge of Database: knowledge of POSTGRESQL JUnit testing Knowledge of Security and performance parameters.
