Job Overview
We are hiring an experienced Accountant to join our team in Erode and salem , Tamil Nadu, India. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accounting records. This is a full-time position with a mid-level experience requirement of 4 to 6 years.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven work experience as an Accountant, with 4 to 6 years of mid-level experience
- Proficiency in using Tally software for accounting and bookkeeping
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and TCS regulations and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions and prepare accounting vouchers
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
- Prepare financial and management reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Handle accounts payable and receivable activities, including invoice processing and collection
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or issues
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, such as GST, TDS, and TCS
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations
