We are seeking an experienced Payroll Processor with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience processing US payroll in Workday
The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing payroll for our organization, ensuring compliance with all relevant US and/or Canadian laws and regulations
The Payroll Processor will collaborate closely with the HR team and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, as well as provide support and guidance to employees on payroll-related matters
Essential Duties
Process end-to-end payroll for our organization using Workday, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Verify and reconcile payroll data, including hours worked, bonuses, commissions, and other earnings or deductions.
Address payroll-related inquiries and provide guidance to employees regarding payroll matters.
Collaborate with the HR team to ensure accurate employee data management in Workday.
Participate in payroll audits and assist with resolving any discrepancies or issues. Stay informed about changes and updates to payroll laws and regulations, and implement necessary changes to payroll processes as required.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure the security of payroll information.
Processing Off-Cycle exception payments
Processing ACH Return Payments
Processing Stop Payments
Process Garnishment by submitting Garnishment tickets to external third (3rd) Party Vendor and other garnishment related activities.
Perform Various Payroll Processing Audits
Resolving Overpayments
Perform third party vendor reconciliation for Garnishments
Provide highest level confidentially when handling and/or reviewing private information such as; social security numbers, banking account information, W-2 information, etc.
Qualifications
Ability to work during US Schedule
Minimum of 2 years of experience processing US and/or Canadian payroll using the Workday platform.
Advance use of Excel including V-look-ups and pivot tables
Proficient in using payroll software and related tools, with advanced knowledge of Workday.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle payroll-related issues with professionalism.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex payroll information to employees.
