Act as the Strategic Advisor to the CMD of a large Chemicals organization |Work with individual business leaders for tracking developments & growth plans

This position will serve as the primary Strategic Advisor to the and MD of the organization. Provide research and analytical support to the MD on various projects, Chairmaninitiatives, and strategic decision-making processes. Compile data, conduct analysis, and prepare reports to support informed decision-making
(S)he will compile updates and insights from individual business units to present regular unbiased updates to the CMD. Evaluate and critique new business opportunities, challenges, and insights as gathered from different business units.
Lead competition tracking and sectoral benchmarking to identify necessary opportunities and challenges for the business and enable suitable strategic development to ensure business continuity and growth
Represent the organization and the CMD's office in various internal and external events
Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, clients, suppliers, and other business partners. Represent the MD professionally and effectively in all interactions.
The Successful Applicant
Must be an Engineer with an MBA with atleast 12 years of relevant experience in developing strategies and supporting leadership for effective management
Experience of Chemicals sector is an added advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and confidential matters.
Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate changing priorities and work demands.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
