Job description
We are looking for a creative Visual Designer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Interaction designers, fellow visual designers and come up with innovative visual design ideas
- Create deliverables in a hands-on capacity including visual designs, interactive prototypes etc.
- A solid foundation in typography, layout and design
- Applying knowledge of psychological and physical attributes of humans (e.g. Hick’s Law, Fitt’s Law)
- Participate in design critiques and assist other designers in building design solutions
- An awesome and positive attitude, growth mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and innovative approach
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Visual Design work experience
- Proficiency with Figma
- Solid portfolio demonstrating problem solving, creativity, and visual design competence
- Experience or familiarity with designing for accessibility standards
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced design process
- Strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills
- Must be comfortable working in fuzzy environments where boundaries aren’t clearly defined.
- Ability to manage multiple tracks of work
- Bonus - Proficiency working with Design Systems
