Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Documentation Specialist to join our Technology team at our Digital Bank. As a Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, organizing, and maintaining a variety of technical documents and materials related to our digital banking systems and processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and business analysts, to gather information and ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

JIRA management and timesheets collation

Documentation and enforcement of IT processes

Collaborate with various stakeholders, including developers, engineers, and business analysts, to gather information and insights for documentation purposes.

Create and update user manuals, system specifications, installation guides, release notes, and other technical documents.

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established standards and guidelines for all documentation.

Organize and maintain a central repository for all technical documents.

Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure documentation reflects current system functionalities and processes.

Develop templates and style guides to standardize documentation practices across the organization.

Provide training and support to team members on documentation processes and tools.

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in technical documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3-4 years' experience as a Documentation Specialist or similar role in the technology industry.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Proficiency in using documentation tools and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, or similar platforms.

Familiarity with version control systems and document management techniques.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams is a plus.

Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to digital banking documentation is preferred.
