Job description
As an SEO Manager, you will be responsible for curating effective SEO strategies backed by your knowledge and the current trends in search engine optimization (SEO). The ability to exhibit creative and proactive approaches to drive results and revenue is one of the key roles of the SEO manager. That said, your responsibility will include guiding the junior SEOs and ensuring timely project executions and success at KRAs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective long- and short-term search engine optimization (SEO) strategies.
- Manage offsite and onsite optimization projects and report on performance.
- Work towards organic search optimization and ROI maximization.
- Monitor redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs.
- Identify our buyer persona to better target identified audiences.
- Identify problems and deficiencies and implement solutions on time.
- Suggest improvements in process and productivity optimization.
- Collaborate with web developers and the marketing team.
- Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing trends and best practices.
- Research and report relevant search engine keywords and trends.
- Develop off-page optimization initiatives.
- Collaborating with creative and marketing teams to produce engaging, relevant content
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), report rankings, and recommend tactics for further optimization.
- Monitor technical search engine optimization issues and help fix them.
- Optimize the content of landing pages, blogs, and websites.
- Direct and coordinate content teams working on on-page and off-page search engine optimization tasks.
- Analyze and interpret data, create a report on all aspects of SEO, including the audience, traffic, views, clicks, rankings, etc., and suggest strategic inputs.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Team during the SEO of marketing campaigns.
- Stay up to date regarding search engine optimization and marketing standards.
- Stay on top of SEO best practices and marketing trends.
- Oversee and supervise a team of SEOs.
Required skills and qualifications
- Expertise in current SEO best practices.
- Knowledge of using content management systems (CMS) to optimize websites.
- Familiarity with requisite web analytics tools and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of SEO content copywriting.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Analytical, results-driven mindset
- Graduates with 4+ years of proven experience working as an SEO Manager or SEO Specialist.
- Excellent presentations skills
- Knowledge of the latest trends in SEO, SEO Strategies, and SEO Best Practices.
- Proficient with Technical SEO, Content Marketing, and Search Marketing techniques.
- Knowledge of web analytics tools.
