Job description

Critical Skills:
• Minimum 3+ Years of Relevant Experience in Application Performance Testing in cloud based SAAS applications using JMeter, JVisualVM and Performance Monitoring tools.
• Hands-on experience with performance test simulations, performance analysis, performance tuning, performance monitoring in a microservices environment.
• Basic knowledge in database technologies like PostgreSQL , MongoDB and CouchDB.
• Ability to work as an individual contributor and produce high quality outcomes.
• Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Workload Design, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management.
• Expertise in writing and executing performance test scenarios for complex systems.
• Ability to create reusable performance test scripts.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to assimilate new information, understand complex topics, and arrive at sound analysis and judgment.
• Ability to coordinate with application and infrastructure support teams.

Key Responsibilities
 Analyze business scenarios and understand the non-functional requirements.
 Perform performance testing for applications spanning UIs, APIs, SQL database and NoSQL database Perform Load, Scalability, and Stress testing.
 Monitor, analyze performance test results, interpret performance metrics, deliver summary reports Pinpoint, troubleshoot the performance issues, and recommend solutions for performance improvement.
 Integrate the performance tests with the deployment pipeline to continuously evaluate the system performance (CI/CD software delivery models)
 Closely collaborate with development teams to ensure deadlines are met and system performance is acceptable before production implementation.
 Manage for planning and creating automated performance tests, executing tests, and results to measure performance, scalability, stability and reliability.
 Experience in cloud-based infrastructure monitoring and performance testing
 Hands- on experience in analyzing the performance results - Capture/Analyze/Interpret technical data - performance metrics from application, database, OS, and Network.
 Demonstrated ability to capture key metrics, create accurate status reports and effectively communicate to the stake holders.
 Hands-on experience in defect logging, tracking and verifying defects.
 Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection to verify the performance of the applications.
 Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problem in the application.
 Generate performance graphs, session reports, and other related documentation required for validation and analysis.
 Publish results and provide appropriate signoff. Prepare detailed status reports and monitoring of all defects and issues.
 Good understanding of basic Database tuning, application and web server tuning and common issues around performance and scalability.
