ROLE DESCRIPTION
The ideal candidate to have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to transform messy, unstructured data into actionable insights.
QUALIFICATION
Two years experience in field of data analytics from automobile, supply chain or any manufacturing industry, with bachelor's degree in any related field (preferably, Engineering, Data science, Statistics, etc) with experience in Data sourcing, cleaning, structuring, and analyzing
ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing unorganized data from various sources, including Google Forms, manual entries, and SharePoint Excel.
- Collect, clean, and organize unstructured data from various sources, including Google Forms, manual entries, and SharePoint Excel, where data may lack consistency and structure.
- Develop and implement data collection strategies, including automating data retrieval from disparate sources, to ensure the efficient and timely acquisition of data.
- Implement data cleaning processes to handle issues such as missing data, duplicates, outliers, and inconsistencies within the data.
- Utilize data transformation techniques and tools to convert raw, unstructured data into a structured format suitable for analysis.
- Collaborate with teams to establish data quality standards and perform data validation to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and maintain data processing workflows to streamline the data cleaning and transformation process for unorganized data.
- Create and maintain documentation of data collection and cleaning processes and best practices tailored to managing unorganized data effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data collection and data cleaning, especially focusing on techniques to handle unstructured and disorganized data.

REQUIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience working with unorganized data sources, such as Google Forms, manual entries, and SharePoint Excel- In areas where data lack's structure and consistency.
- Proficiency in data cleaning and transformation using tools like Excel, Python, or R, particularly for unstructured data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to adapt to varying data formats.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) for presenting insights from disorganized data.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, especially when dealing with unconventional data sources.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to data quality, even in the face of messy data.
- Experience with database management and SQL is a plus.
- Respectful and appreciative of different personality styles, thinking, backgrounds, and cultures and positively handle potential disruptive and hostile environments.
- Outstanding integrity and the ability to always seek to do the right thing for the client right first time.
