Job description
- Work with observability tools like New Relic, Dynatrace, Splunk, and Sumo Logic to monitor and troubleshoot applications.
- Utilize GitLab for version control and participate in the CI/CD pipeline.
- Use PagerDuty for on-call rotations and incident management, providing support during US business hours.
- Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools using Python and Node.js.
- Integrating with Slack and any experience with Slack bots is highly beneficial.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring high availability and reliability of the application.
- Contribute to the improvement of logging, alerting, and monitoring practices.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience as support Engineer
- Background in computer science.
- Solid understanding of logging, troubleshooting, alerting, and monitoring.
- Good understanding of the retail landscape and background and business context around product, pricing, placement, and promotion.
- Experience in Python and Node.js.
- Familiarity with PagerDuty and ServiceNow for on-call, incident management, and postmortems.
- Experience with Slack, and any experience with Slack bots is a plus.
- The primary role is during US business hours.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with AWS services, Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as New Relic, Dynatrace, Splunk, and Sumo Logic.
- Experience using GitLab for version control
