Job description
The Onsite Civil Quality Control and Assurance Engineer play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of civil construction projects. This role involves implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections, and collaborating with construction teams to maintain high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Quality Control Implementation:
Develop and implement quality control plans based on project specifications.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
Material Testing and Approval:
Oversee the testing of construction materials to ensure they meet project requirements.
Approve or reject materials based on test results and specifications.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of quality control activities.
Generate reports on quality performance, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
Collaboration:
Work closely with civil engineers, project managers, and construction teams to address quality-related issues.
Provide technical guidance on quality standards and requirements.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure that all construction activities adhere to safety regulations and compliance standards.
Collaborate with safety officers to integrate quality and safety protocols.
Problem-Solving:
Identify and address quality issues promptly, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to find effective solutions.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement.
Implement changes to enhance overall project quality.
Lab Setup and Process Standardization:
Caliberate lab equipments and set up the lab installations.
Ensure proper utility of lab setup with all quality documentations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
5 - 8+ years of experience in Industrial construction management.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
Excellent communication skills.
Efficiency in MS Office Suit.
Clear understanding of drawings and deliverables.
Technical and Software skills.Â
