CAD Technician - Civil

Job description

• Can demonstrate that they will contribute to the delivery of our Water, Energy and Industry projects within cost and on time.
•   Can demonstrate that they are proficient in the CAD design.
•   Can work closely with team members in the development of civil and structural design documents/drawings.
•   Is adept to implement an engineers design and support the project team with queries/ comments/ observations/ clarifications. Review and comment on the drawings/ documents/ deliverables generated by other team members.
•   Demonstrates proficient use of industry standard CAD software:
• AutoCAD 2D / Autodesk REVIT

 

• Ability to demonstrates experience in additional areas (not essential):
  • AutoCAD 3D / Autodesk Civil 3D / CADS RC
• Demonstrates a good working knowledge of design codes & standards applicable to Civil and Structural design, applicable to role. 

 

Strong engineering acumen and excellent spoken and written English

Skills Required : • Be a Civil and Structural CAD Technician with detailed knowledge and proven application in a wide area of civil & structural design pertaining to Water, Energy and Industry. • Report to the civil and structural engineering discipline under the business stream. • Can innovate and challenge standard practices. • Generate preliminary conceptual ideas and shape them into detailed designs. • Demonstrate technical expertise with problem solving abilities
