Job Description

. Oversee and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

. Develop and implement compliance programs and policies.

. Develop and execute a comprehensive government relations and advocacy strategy to engage with relevant authorities and advocate for policies that align with the organisation's interests.

. Develop and execute a corporate affairs strategy that aligns with the company's goals and values.

. Identify opportunities for advocacy and collaboration to advance the company's interests.

. Develop and implement CSR initiatives that align with the organisation's values and business objectives.

. Manage and coordinate outside legal counsel when necessary.

. Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may affect the organisation and advise accordingly.

The Successful Applicant

• A minimum of 17 years of experience in corporate affairs, regulatory affairs, government relations, or a related role.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Public Relations, Communications, Political Science, Business, or a related field
• Strong understanding of regulatory processes and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills
