Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu Position Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide follow-up care. Prescribe and manage medications, monitoring effects and making adjustments as necessary. Offer psychotherapy, counseling, and other therapeutic interventions. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care. Participate in case reviews and consultations with other healthcare professionals. Engage in community outreach and education on mental health awareness and treatment. Contribute to the continuous improvement of psychiatric services and patient care protocols. Maintain up-to-date patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information. Qualifications: Postgraduation in psychiatry - A Medical degree (MD) with specialization in Psychiatry or MRCPsych. Valid medical license to practice in Tamil Nadu. Demonstrated experience in psychiatric practice, with a strong background in both medication management and psychotherapy. Excellent diagnostic skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to staying informed on current research and best practices in psychiatry.
