We are looking to hire a Manager Fund Accounting & Operations – AIF /PMS Products. The individual will be responsible for supporting the Chief Operating Officer across all the products (AIF & PMS) independently and in close coordination with the management of the Firm.
Roles & Responsibilities include:
• Co-ordinating and liaising with the Fund Administrator, Auditor, Custodian, Bank, etc. for providing
relevant information, reviewing and approving accounts, statements, and notices across all the 3 funds.
• Co-ordinate with the Fund Administrator, Auditor & Tax Consultants, Regulator, etc. for various matters
pertaining to the Fund for accounting, tax, company, etc. perspective.
• Track and maintain the relevant records and calculations of the funds – management fees, expenses
invoice, NAV calculation, distribution of capital, cash flow management, etc.
• Performing timely reconciliations of the funds/client's books with that of various fundaccounting &
custody reports and taking appropriate actions in case of emergence of any discrepancies.
• Tracking and monitoring changes in regulations, directives, and circulars from tax, accounts, SEBI, and company law perspectives to ensure that the funds and the firm's practices and policies remain up-to- date and compliant.
• Resolve clients' as well as internal team queries pertaining to accounts and taxation.
• Ensure meeting compliance with all internal organizational and business policies to ensure that all
transactions/activities are performed as per the defined SOP.
• Follow a close checklist approach to ensure effective coordination amongst all stakeholders.
Education
• A Professional Qualified Chartered Accountant with Company Secretary or a Degree in Law is preferred.
• NISM Series-III-A: Securities Intermediaries Compliance (Non-Fund) Certification Examination will be an
added advantage
Desired Candidate Profile
• Min. 3 -5 years of experience handling the Fund Accounting and Operation role in allied industries (AIF / PMS) and having a working knowledge of Tax and SEBI AIF & PMS Regulations in particular.
• Excellent in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
• Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written)
