Job Description
Channel Excellence Manager will be leading the following activities for a group of Sales Divisions:
- Lead and collaborate to design and drive channel strategy, aligned to Sales objectives.
- Enable right Reach, Penetration, Portfolio selling objectives.
- Lead and execute the processes for channel partner onboarding, channel performance reviews.
- Effective management of Distributors, Direct Retailers
- Collaborate with divisions to design and implement efficient and effective schemes/ channel programs.
- Closely work with sales leadership, and lead for enhancing sustainable channel engagement.
- Own and drive Digital enablement tools for channel for targeted objectives and enhanced customer experience.
- Drive and leverage data analytics for superior business value addition
- Lead for regular channel performance monitoring, updates, market intelligence
Qualifications
- Knowledge/ Experience and Capabilities / Skills / Background
- Min 10+ years’ experience within Marketing and Sales functions
- Critical Knowledge:
- Excellent knowledge of Channel Management in Crop Protection
- Goof understanding of commercial dynamics of Crop Protection business
- High ability to influence and impact key stakeholders, Sales teams
- Good understanding of distribution models, and levers for Channel Excellence
- Good commercial acumen, sales experience,
- Desirable portfolio management experience
- Technical and Professional expertise:
- Channel / Large distributor management
- Channel onboarding, engagement, review mechanisms / processes
- Technical professional and personal capabilities in leadership role
- Key stakeholder management, influencing across functional and divisional boundaries.
- Good communication, interpersonal skills
- Clear priority and direction setting
- Ability to balance the long-term big picture with short term business delivery
- Maximizing performance within Sales function and collaboration with other functions
