Job description
Conduct regular inspections of electrical components of plant and machinery.
Oversee preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the optimal performance of electrical systems.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to address electrical issues promptly.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in plant and machinery.
Implement corrective measures to resolve electrical problems and minimize downtime.
Oversee the electrical installation of new plant and machinery.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure compliance with electrical standards.
Commission electrical systems to ensure they meet project requirements.
Ensure that all electrical systems and equipment comply with safety regulations and standards.
Implement and enforce safety protocols related to electrical operations.
Conduct safety training for staff operating electrical equipment.
Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Prepare reports on the condition of electrical equipment and recommendations for improvements.
Assist in developing and managing budgets related to electrical maintenance and operations.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or performance.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of electrical activities.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors regarding electrical requirements.
