Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Data Scientist to join our team. As a Principal Data Scientist you will lead the development and implementation of advanced data science solutions to address complex business challenges. You will be responsible for leveraging cuttingedge techniques in machine learning statistical analysis and data mining to extract insights from large datasets and drive datadriven decisionmaking across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science proven leadership abilities and a track record of delivering impactful solutions in a fastpaced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the design development and deployment of innovative data science solutions to solve complex business problems.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define project objectives requirements and success criteria.
- Apply advanced machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights.
- Develop predictive models optimization algorithms and other analytical tools to support decisionmaking processes.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs challenges and goals and translate them into data science solutions that drive value.
- Lead and facilitate workshops meetings and presentations to gather requirements communicate findings and solicit feedback from stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science machine learning and related fields and evaluate their applicability to our business challenges.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders through clear and compelling visualizations reports and presentations.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in data science including data quality assessment feature engineering model evaluation and deployment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate data science solutions into production systems and ensure scalability reliability and performance.
Requirements
- Masters or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or a related field.
- 79 years of experience in a data science role with a track record of delivering impactful solutions to complex business problems.
- Expertise in machine learning statistical analysis and data mining techniques with handson experience in tools such as Python R or MATLAB.
- Strong programming skills and proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using libraries such as pandas NumPy scikitlearn or TensorFlow.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop Spark or Kafka is preferred.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
- Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated track record of leading and mentoring teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable insights for nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in cloud computing platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of deep learning techniques and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience working in industries such as ecommerce banking & and finance or telecommunications.
- Certifications in data science or related fields (e.g. AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate).

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. (Master\'s degree preferred) Proven experience in cloud cost management, administration, or related roles. In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify cost optimization opportunities. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks. Familiarity with cloud management tools and platforms (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect are a plus.
