Assistant Manager Design – R & D for their plant located in Anand. Job Requirements 1. Exp-At least 7 years of experience into Design, FMCG (Plastic Product Design) would be preferred. 2. Qualification – B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical/Plastic) 3. Job location- Anand (Gujarat) Mandatory Requirement Experience in Plastic Product Design, Plastic Injection Molding, Press part Mandatory Software : Solid Works and AutoCAD Key Responsibilities Develop product designs (NPD) that differentiate and function on brand and strategy. Key focus on innovative design ideas. Create effective product demo plans for new as well as existing products focusing on key product claims. Strong involvement in the NPD ideation process. Contribute concepts and stories for the look and feel of the product and compellingly express them, both visually and verbally. Mockups, models, illustrations, 2D & 3D renderings & engineering model Lead the new product development projects by actively contributing to R&D Engineering, Product Supply, Quality & Marketing as a key contact. Create, update, and development of 2D parts specifications in the system. Additional Responsibilities Collaborate with Marketing and R&D to find opportunities and value for NPD and existing product design by close interaction with R&D managers, production & quality. Examine materials and production costs to determine manufacturing requirements. Give Design input to packaging engineers for sustainable and aesthetically appealing packaging. Scout new product and technology trends and infuse them into the innovation process. Guide and educate the R&D design engineering team. Key Skills (if any) Work Experience of 8 to 10 years in Design and Developing Consumer Goods based on innovative Ideas/design thinking. Should have exposure to polymer processing. Should have experience in injection molding, plastic, and press parts design and development. Should know the NPD Project Management gate process. Must handle cost innovation projects independently.
