Job Description:
The Department of Nutrition at JKKN College of Allied Health Science is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Lecturer in Nutrition to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering lectures and leading practical sessions in the field of Nutrition Science. They will also be involved in the development of course content and assessment materials, as well as contributing to the department's research and scholarly activities.
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Nutrition Science or a related field.
- A PhD in Nutrition Science is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in the field of Nutrition Science.
- Strong knowledge of current trends and developments in the field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students through interactive teaching methods.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver lectures and lead practical sessions in the field of Nutrition Science.
- Develop and update course content and assessment materials.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to create a comprehensive learning experience for students.
- Contribute to the department's research and scholarly activities.
- Engage in professional development activities to keep up-to-date with latest developments in the field.
- Provide support to students through office hours, counseling and guidance.
- Attend departmental and college-wide meetings and events.
