Manage monthly/quarterly forecasting and reporting processes for Life Science business units
Analyze financial results and variances, provide insightful commentary, and generate content for monthly and quarterly Corporate deliverables and business reviews
Partner with leadership teams to ensure execution of financial commitments; identify and communicate risks, opportunities, and actions for mitigation
Develop and prepare clear, actionable reporting for business teams; enhance forecasting processes through increased visibility into financial metrics and performance
Identify opportunities to automate and improve reporting capabilities and assist in solutions implementation
Provide ad-hoc and project-based support as needed for business and finance requests
Basic Qualification:
Bachelors degree with 5-8 years experience in Corporate Finance or Master s degree in business management, accounting or finance with 3-5 years of experience in Corporate Finance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the software/technology or life sciences industry is strongly preferred
Possesses a strong sense of ethics and high level of integrity
Strategic thinker, self-starter with strong sense of ownership, bias for action and results, always driving improvements, simplification & transparency
Ability to prioritize, manage expectations, and deliver on commitments
Ability to communicate, partner, and influence both cross-functionally and in a matrixed environment across all levels of the organization
Executive presence and ability to work closely with the senior leadership team in a fast-paced environment
Must be an analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Must be open-minded, team-oriented, collaborative, positive, curious, with a strong passion for business and continuous learning
Familiarity with Netsuite, HFM, Essbase, TIBCO Spotfire, Salesforce and OpenAir a plus
