Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The Google Payments Platform is the business engine for Google products, moving across countries, Business-to-Business, Business-to-Consumer, and Marketplace business models. The team works with the banking and payments ecosystem including networks, issuers, and gateways to deliver solutions globally.

As part of the Payments Platform, the Forms of Payment (FOPs) team makes sure Google users can pay and get paid using convenient, safe payment methods. The work enables Google's businesses to grow and promote economic equity for users through global expansion and better transaction experiences.

In this role, you will be the regional owner in APAC for all aspects including business growth, user experience, compliance, world changing events, and across multiple markets in the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic initiatives, define product requirements, and partner with other product managers and cross-functional team members across functions to grow Google's businesses in the APAC region.
  
• Manage cards lifecycle for the region, local preferences for card related user experience design (UXD), processing, and card issuer relationships to improve conversion, refunds, and chargeback optimizations.
  
• Partner with Google Pay/Wallet APAC Market teams to further the payment experience for Google users.
