Job description

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels.

• Monitor stock to ensure optimal levels are maintained.

• Conduct regular stock assessments and reconcile discrepancies.

Order Processing:

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.

• Prepare and place orders for replenishing stock.

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries.

Storage and Organization:

• Organize and arrange products within the store or warehouse.

• Implement efficient storage methods to maximize space utilization.

• Ensure that products are stored in accordance with safety guidelines.

Stock Rotation:

• Implement a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system to minimize product spoilage or obsolescence.

• Monitor expiry dates and rotate stock accordingly.

Documentation:

• Maintain detailed records of stock movements and transactions.

• Generate regular reports on inventory levels, orders, and discrepancies.

Quality Control:

• Inspect products for damage or defects.

• Report and address any quality issues with merchandise.

Issuing and Dispatch:

• Fulfill internal requisitions and distribute products to the appropriate departments.

• Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams for timely dispatch
