Role Description:
We are hiring a full-time remote Web Development and Project Lead at Webinsight. In this role, you will combine your technical skills and project management abilities to work with a dynamic team of developers and designers to deliver high-quality projects within tight deadlines. You will be responsible for creating project plans, working along with the team, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Expertise:
- Demonstrate strong technical expertise in web development, coding languages, and related technologies.
- Actively contribute to the technical implementation of web design projects.
- Client Interaction and Relationship Management:
- Manage client communication, understand client requirements, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project.
- Act as a bridge between clients and the stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment with client expectations.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Address challenges in budget management and resource allocation to ensure project success.
- Innovation and Design Direction:
- Bring creative ideas and oversee design direction to ensure the final product meets client expectations.
- Balance both creative and technical aspects to deliver high-quality web design projects.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
- Navigate and resolve issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Demonstrate effective problem-solving and decision-making skills to overcome project challenges.
- Long-Term Strategy:
- Contribute to the long-term growth and strategy of the company.
- Bring a strategic mindset to oversee project management and contribute to the company's overall success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in web development with a focus on project management.
- Strong technical expertise in web development technologies such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript and CMS like WordPress, WIX, Shopify, Webflow etc.
- Proven experience in client interaction, relationship management, and overseeing project workflows.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Asana, or Trello.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics and design.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
