Department : IT InfrastructureLocation : Pune, India (Work From Office)Shift : Rolling - Aligned with European & US Business HoursExperience : 4-10 yearsJob Summary :We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Server Builder to join our IT Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for building, configuring, and maintaining physical and virtual servers across our hybrid infrastructure. You will work closely with other IT teams to ensure server deployments meet all technical and business requirements.Responsibilities :Install and configure operating systems, applications, and services.Perform system hardening and security configurations.Integrate servers with Active Directory and other identity management systems.Apply software updates and security patches.VMware Management : Manage VMware vSphere environment, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines.Create and manage virtual networks, storage, and resources.Perform vMotion and other VM migrations.Monitor and troubleshoot VMware-related issues.Linux Server Management :Install, configure, and manage Linux servers (moderate experience required).Manage user accounts, file systems, and network configurations.Automate server tasks using scripting tools like Bash or Python.Troubleshoot common Linux server issues.Additional Responsibilities :Document server builds and configurations.Participate in server migration projects.Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues.Stay up-to-date on the latest server technologies and best practices.Assist other IT teams with server-related tasks.Required Skills :4-10 years of experience building and managing physical and virtual servers.Proven experience with Windows Server, VMware vSphere, and Linux (moderate experience).Excellent understanding of server hardware, operating systems, networking, and security.Experience with scripting languages like Bash or Python (preferred).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
