Data Analyst

2 Position Job Description

Analysis of Data Warehouse production support issues (root cause identification and proposal of solutions).

Revision of source to target SQL logic to address production support items and/or to add new data elements to the existing data warehouse. (Source to target mapping, table navigation and data transformation rules)

Creation/Revision of Source to Target documents to address production support items and/or to add new data elements to the existing data warehouse.

Maintenance and conformance of reference data from multiple source systems to be leveraged by the data warehouse.

Ad hoc analysis of source system data to support architectural design decisions (identification of essential target table keys, target table source codes, and grain of data).

System testing of new fixes/enhancements for the data warehouse in test environments.

Promotion requests for Data Warehouse code changes.

Minimum 7 Years Of Experience Qualifications

Communication with the business regarding new fixes and enhancements to the Data Warehouse as available in the production environment. Required Qualifications/Experience:

Strong SQL skills

Strong understanding on Data Warehouse concepts

Strong background in P&C insurance from a Policy as well as Claim perspective.

Good communication skills and the ability to follow up on multiple tasks with minimal guidance.

Knowledge of P&C insurance front end system navigation (Guidewire Policycenter and GuideWire ClaimCenter a plus).
