Job description
We are looking for a DevOps/Infrastructure architect for the Product group called Jaspersoft. We take care of various devops and release activities and make sure to keep the CI/CD pipeline green which is a key factor in the product development and business continuity. We also take care of various platforms/systems management and maintenance including but not limited to Git, Artifactory, AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker and K8s.
Job Description/Responsibilities: - Lead the DevOps/Infrastructure team from the technical perspective.
- Work with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools for build and release pipelines, SVN/GIT source control tools and puppet/groovy scripts to support development efforts, code deployments and overall operations.
- Build and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines on Cloud native infrastructures like AWS and Azure
- Work closely with development teams to understand product additions, changes and implement them in the deployment pipeline.
- Design and develop automated architecture based on Salt Stack Framework.
- Design and develop applications on Docker and Kubernetes frameworks.
- Mentor and help junior members in the team.
- Monitor, diagnose and fix operations issues that affect customers or internal users.
- Automate operational processes and monitor those processes with accuracy and in compliance with security requirements.
- Migrating applications from manual codes to automated / continuous deployments.
- Seeking out ways to improve our deployment practices and tooling
- Assist with automated testing of code, code deployments, and operations.
- Deploy product updates as required while implementing integrations on a regular basis.
- Stay current with industry trends and source new ways for our business to improve.
- Generate reports and statistics for various systems using various analytical tools.
- Performs technical administrative functions and other miscellaneous technical projects as assigned by the management.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Hands on experience on CI/CD Pipeline using Jenkins
- Hands on experience on Groovy, Puppet and Python scripts
- Hands on experience on designing and developing automated frameworks using Salt Stack framework.
- Hands on experience on Networking
- Proficiency in Linux
- Hands on experience on Operating System/Server administration and maintenance
- Knowledge on Ansible Tower
- Hands on experience on Source Control tools like Github
- Hands on experience on managing AWS/Azure/GCP accounts and developing applications cloud.
- Hands on experience on Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands on experience on Maven artifactory
- Working knowledge on security and patching.
- Desirable knowledge on Java Programming
- Engineering or equivalent degree in Computer Science with minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience.
