Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented leader to join our team as Branch Manager in our Retail Banking Department.

You will be responsible for the overall performance of a branch, driving growth, exceeding sales targets, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team to achieve individual and branch goals.

- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.

- Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to bank policies and regulations.

- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for various financial products and services.

- Cross-sell and upsell products and services to existing customers, exceeding customer expectations.

- Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs and providing personalized solutions.

- Ensure prompt and efficient resolution of customer queries and concerns.

- Manage branch budgets effectively, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.

- Monitor and control branch expenses, identifying areas for cost reduction.

- Regularly review and update security measures to safeguard customer information and prevent fraud.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

- Minimum of 5 + years of experience in Retail Banking, preferably in a managerial role.

- Proven record of accomplishment of exceeding sales targets and achieving business goals.

- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Deep understanding of Indian banking regulations and compliance requirements.

- Proficiency in MS Office suite and branch banking software.
