Job Description:
· Overall 10+ Years of IT Experience.
Essential Skills:
· Data Cleaning and Preparation: Data analysts should know how to clean and prepare data for analysis. This includes removing errors, identifying outliers, and transforming data into a format that can be analysed.
· Data Analysis and Exploration: Data analysts need to be able to analyse data and explore it for insights. This includes using statistical methods to test hypotheses, identify trends, and make predictions.
· Programming: Knowledge of programming languages, especially: Python: Libraries like pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn are essential for data manipulation and analysis.
· R: Another powerful language for statistical analysis and data visualization.
· Database Management: The ability to query databases using SQL is essential for extracting data. Knowledge of database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL.
· Data Visualization: Using tools and libraries like Tableau, Power BI
· Data Analysis, Data structure, data quality, data mapping, data model understanding.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Data Analysis, Data Structure, data Model understanding, business requirements mapping to data.
· Data cleansing, data quality, data governance, data management
· data extraction, performance tuning of the data extracts
· Guide the team on understanding of the data in the source systems and how it maps to data model and to the reports. Take ownership of data mapping, data quality and data management.
· Prior work experience in banking domain(plus).
