Job description
- Responsible for implementing enterprise wide technology solutions built on Salesforce.com platform
- Responsible for enhancing the current capabilities of various SFDC applications by leveraging out-of-box functionalities and building custom solutions to satisfy business needs
- Responsible for determining level of effort estimations, monitoring task execution and meeting established project milestones.
- Collaborates with delivery team members to maximize and leverage the understanding of business solution functional requirements and non-functional requirements.
- Responsible for creating APEX classes, test classes, visual force pages and debugging
- Responsible for adherence to best practices for SFDC custom development and deployment processes
- Responsible for maintenance releases and code deployments to SFDC orgs
- Understanding of software development life cycle and agile development methodologies
- Passion about technology, learning, and team environments
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Collaborates with application developers, designers, and architects to ensure a shared understanding of the business model and the detailed function requirements.
2. Lead development activities and manage assignments for team.
3. Responsible for conducting technical code reviews and unit testing.
4. Works with Studio BA/QA resources to support testing and perform defect fixes as needed
5. Participates in studio daily scrum and project status calls to provide accurate updates on deliverable timelines and status
6. Creates and manages technical documentation as required
7. Works with Technical Delivery Manager proactively for task prioritization, resolving issues and escalations
8. Responsible for code release and deployment activities
9. Participates in reviews of plans associated with project execution.
10. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Technical Skills
- 5-10 years of extensive Design and Development experience in force.com
- Business Analysis skills to understand the Business Problem and propose the best technical solution
- Enterprise implementations of complex SFDC applications, with reports, workflow, working with several SFDC objects
- Expertise in Apex, LWC, AURA lightning components, Visual force, Web Services, SOQL, SAQL, SASL, AJAX, XML, JavaScript and HTML
- Develop and maintain Visualforce, Force.com pages and integration to other third party solutions.
- Maintain multiple user roles, security, profiles, workflow rules, etc.
- Strong communication, technical and virtual collaboration skills are a must
- Experience in dealing with multiple projects and cross-functional teams and ability to coordinate across teams in a large matrix organization environment
- Experience with Salesforce Analytics (Wave) is a plus
- Experience working with Salesforce Lightning experience is a plus
- Experience with Salesforce Mobile SDK is a plus
- Experience with Mulesoft is a plus
Required Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements
- Salesforce certifications is a plus
- Experience working with Agile development processes
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent education
- 5 to 10 years of Salesforce or other CRM / similar cloud technology experience.
