Job Role : Essbase Applications Developer
Experience : 7-10 years Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid) Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain over 100 Essbase applications (BSO and ASO), primarily hosted on Essbase 21c cloud. Enhance existing and develop new Essbase applications and data pipelines. Automate data and metadata loads using scripts and ETL tools. Optimize application performance and data quality. Work with IBM Cognos Controller (CCC) to schedule and manage 100+ jobs. Collaborate with Agile and Scrum development teams. Required Skills and Experience: 7-10 years of IT experience. 3+ years of experience with Essbase (ASO applications preferred, on-prem experience a plus). 3+ years of experience with Essbase data loads, metadata loads, Calc Scripts, Report Scripts, and Rules files. 3+ years of experience developing data warehousing applications and building data pipelines (ODI, DataStage, Informatica). 2+ years of experience with data migration, Lifecycle Management, and Hyperion Financial Reporting. 3+ years of experience with data warehousing, data modeling, governance, and data architecture. Knowledge of General Ledger, forecast & budgeting cycles a plus. Exposure to Anaplan a plus. Experience with cloud data management practices (OCI/Azure) preferred. Experience building modern dimensional models. Experience with Hyperion Security Management and migration. Exposure to automation tools (Jenkins, Codefresh) and CI/CD processes. Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies. Additional Skills This is a demanding role requiring a high level of expertise in Essbase and related technologies. The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, shift-based environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.Job tags
