Job Title: IT Procurement Analyst

Responsibilities:

 

Procurement Process Management:

●Oversee and manage the end-to-end IT procurement process, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

●Conduct vendor evaluations, negotiate contracts, and make recommendations for vendor selection.

Cost Analysis:

●Perform detailed cost analysis for IT procurement decisions to identify cost-saving opportunities.

●Work closely with finance teams to ensure budgetary compliance.

Market Research and Trend Analysis:

●Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions related to IT products and services.

●Utilise market research to make informed procurement decisions.

Contract Management:

●Develop and implement strategies for effective contract management, ensuring contractual terms align with organisational objectives.

●Monitor and manage contract performance to ensure compliance.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

●Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT teams and business units, to understand and address their procurement needs.

●Ensure effective communication and alignment with various departments throughout the procurement process.

Compliance and Risk Management:

●Ensure IT procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and organisational policies.

●Identify and mitigate risks associated with the procurement process.

Use of Procurement Tools:

●Utilise procurement tools and software to enhance efficiency in the IT procurement process.

●Stay updated on technological advancements in procurement tools.

Continuous Improvement:

●Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT procurement processes through proactive identification of improvement opportunities.

●Implement and support process improvement initiatives.

Problem-Solving:

●Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in addressing challenges that may arise during the procurement process.

●Implement effective solutions to ensure smooth procurement operations.

Understanding Business Needs:

●Work closely with business units to understand overall business needs and objectives.

●Adapt procurement strategies to meet changing business requirements.

 

 

 

Qualifications:

●Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

●Proven experience in IT procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiations.

●Strong analytical and cost analysis skills.

●Knowledge of market trends and industry best practices in IT procurement.

●Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

●Familiarity with procurement tools and technologies.

●Understanding of compliance and risk management in procurement.

●Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to process enhancement.

●Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing business needs.

 

This role requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing the intricacies of IT procurement within a dynamic and global organisation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimising costs, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the efficiency of the IT procurement function.
