Job Description :- Able to work independently as well as in team - Analyze the information and structure the information in efficient manner - Creation/revision of maintenance manuals per S1000D standard - Ability to understand different logs in efficient manner - Adhere to quality procedures as defined in the quality system - Reporting to their Project Leader on a regular basis to anticipate project deviations, project progress and internal/external problems - Correct the structure of the document as per the references with XML and SGML - Development of ideas and contribution for continuous improvement of the project - Commitment to the future vision and goals of the organization Responsibilities : - Document Creation: Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance documents, including manuals, guides, and procedures, for various technical products or systems. - Content Collaboration: Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and specifications for accurate and detailed documentation. - Document Review: Conduct thorough reviews of existing documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and relevance to the latest product updates or modifications. - Standardization: Implement and adhere to documentation standards, ensuring consistency and clarity in all maintenance documents. - Visual Aids: Create and incorporate visual aids, diagrams, and illustrations to enhance the understanding of complex technical concepts and procedures. - Revision Control: Establish and maintain a revision control system for all maintenance documents to track changes and updates over time. - User Feedback: Gather feedback from users and technicians to continuously improve and update maintenance documentation based on real-world experiences. - Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that maintenance documents comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements. - Training Support: Collaborate with training teams to develop training materials and resources based on maintenance documentation. - Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and customer support, to gather information and ensure alignment with product development cycles. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Technical Author, preferably with a focus on maintenance documents. - Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and clarity. - Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, or other relevant software. - Familiarity with engineering and technical concepts, especially in the context of maintenance and troubleshooting. - Ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise documentation for various audiences. - Experience with document version control systems. - Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to maintenance documentation. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously.
