Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Front Office Assistant at Seasons Hotel in Rajkot. The Front Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative assistance, scheduling check-in and check-outs, adhering to phone etiquette, and utilising clerical skills to ensure efficient front office operations.
- Reservations:Â Taking reservations, keeping track of the number of rooms available, and confirming bookings
- Check-in and check-out:Â Greeting guests, checking guests in and out, and handing out room keys
- Payment processing:Â Handling payments for services, food, and other items
- Administrative tasks:Â Writing letters, managing calendars, and keeping accurate records
- Customer service:Â Answering questions from customers, providing information about the hotel and its services, and helping with any questions or customer issues
- Communication:Â Maintaining communication with maintenance and housekeeping departments
- Room management:Â Handling room bookings, cancellations, and modifications
- Special needs:Â Accommodating any special needs or requestsÂ
Qualification
- Hotel management degree/ diploma or equivalent.
- Previous hospitality experience can be a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-presented and professional appearance.
- Competency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn on the job.
- Excellent customer service skills.
